I just got a peach throat monitor baby at the NARBC show, and was wondering what the -ideal- setup would be. Ive kept monitors before, but im just wondering if peach throats require anything special. Right now hes in a 4x2x2 cage.

V.Jobiensis require a hot humid enclosure.
Here is one of my enclosures for an adult pair, it is not Ideal by any means. This pair just gave me a 3 egg clutch!
Good Luck with your new Peachie.

Just resized these photos and thought I'd share.
Date of event 9/7/07. They are in the incubator now and in another 200 and some odd days we will see if they hatch.
Thanks for looking, enjoy!

How are the eggs doing?? Just curiouse because when mine drop eggs like that they tend to go bad. This led me to believe the elongated shaped eggs to be infertile. Hopefully all goes well for you.

So far so good!
Thanks

Congrats on the eggs Mike. Regardless if they are fertile or hatch, it's way farther than I've gotten with my crocs. Maybe you have a special touch with the Jobiensis
Seems like yesterday you picked up those babies.
Good luck.
