Jurassic temperament?

Kevin Saunders Sep 12, 2007 10:57 PM

I've noticed a lot of jurassics I see for sale mention that they're not very handleable, and I've seen a few similar comments here and there on forums when they're brought up. I'm just wondering if this is coincidental or if they do tend to be difficult to handle in general? I'd be interested in hearing your experiences since I've never kept any jurassics myself (I did have a jungle corn that was fairly aggressive though).

Mine are like Hondurans - they don't like to be handled, but aren't aggressive - they just try to get away.

The ones I have now and the ones I have had in the past have good temperaments. They all have started out shy and some stay shy and others do not. The ones that are not shy are like a florida king and always seem to hungry. As long as they know you are not food they are great to handle.
