Which is preferred? Cypress Mulch or Aspen??

uf_g8or Aug 21, 2003 01:35 PM

Just wondering what everyone preferred and liked better. Please state what you like between cypress mulch and aspen wood and then it's advantages and disadvantages. I'm debating which one to use.

All opinions and advice/ideas are greatly welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you

Cypress is good if you need to keep the substrate moist. So if you're keeping rainbow boas, ball pythons, etc - cypress can be a good choice. Aspen is a good all-around substrate for most colubrids and many boids. It is cheaper when purchased in bulk.
