Feeder Size

Hi,I have two kings and was wondering what size mice I should be feeding them.They are about 26-27" long.Right now I am feeding them 3-4 peach fuzzies every 5-7 days.I want to order quanity but not sure what size.Also how long will the mice keep in the freezer?Thanks for any help.

at this size, peach fuzzy are too small. try a wean or adult mice. what kind of kings do you have? may help a bit.

I agree here peach fuzzies are way to small, figure they are only 4.50 - 7.00 grams, go with Weanlings, 13.00 - 19.00 Grams, saves you money and is healthier for the snake.

Also as far as I know there hasn’t been a lab test run on how long rodents keep nutritional value when frozen, however everyone has there own opinion. Me personally I keep my rodents in deep freeze (little traffic) for going on 3 months now but hope they last for 6 months to a year, also air is the enemy make sure to squeeze all the air out before resealing. And you will find most online sites that sell frozen rodents say 6-12 months.
