FAT hypo

ZFelicien Sep 13, 2007 10:36 AM

I woke up this morning and found a freshly shed [very fat] Hypo (poss het lavender)... needless to say she had some missing siblings (2 to be exact)... ahhhhhhhh the "joys" of kingsnake snake keeping

I have to say i'm a little impressed, but it's saddening

Ya know Zenny...you ain't gonna impress us by feeding your snakes such expensive meals...
..any Grey Poupon??....
Seriously it is something we have to be reminded of every once in a while I guess, huh? They ARE cannibals...
That's how I got several breeders... The previous owners were so hoppin' mad at the snakes that ate their mates, they gave them to me..
I guess I could take that little guy off your hands for ya...

Indeed a harsh reminder... but she's a cool looking snake, i planned on keeping before this situation so hopefully she proves out someday.

maybe the other two were going at it first and the commotion caused her to go into terminator mode. Someone asked a while ago to list traits to look for in holdbacks- I would add "garbage can, eats everything". My sincere regrets on the other two (what morphs were they?), but I would hang on to her.

who knows what made her eat um???

she ate a poss 2x het and a hypo

Funny I planed on holding her back when she 1st emerged, I was really pissed when I saw her and planned on letting her go, but I think she has the potential of being a little "monster"
