I have to get some photo's of western hognose snakes in their natural habitat. I have a great location that they are known to be in, but I'm looking for any tips to improve my odds of finding them.
Thanks

not being in the right place but western hogs are hard to find in some natural range period ! I also don't know where you are but in where i am right now. there is nothing, but nothing out because of the 6th day over 100 and no rain for over a month and a half ( East central Kansas ). In all the years ( 35 ) that I have hunted in the western hogs range of a proximity 100 sqaure miles just north and a little west of where I now live, 3 westerns.
