After picking up Slider today and bringing him home after surgery (see "prolapse problem" below), he has new problems. His front legs seem paralyzed, just hanging there with no life. His head is cocked to the side. He is crawling around, pushing himself with his back legs. Called the vet as soon as we got home, but he didn't seem to have any answers. Maybe where he injected the stuff to knock him out yesterday, which was in the sinus cavity. Vet thinks maybe it has swelled and will go down in the next day or two. I am so upset....I don't know what to think. Anyone have any ideas or solutions or answers??? Vet says he was fine this morning when they examined him.

anesthesia effects reptiles strangely. They also recover slowly from it. Perhaps he will get better with some time. If not, you may need to find a better vet.

It's been a couple of days now, is Slider any better? Please update us. I have not heard of loss of use of front legs after anesthesia, but I don't know about it's use in sinus cavity! Do you mean it was breathed in? Hope all is well.
