Anyways do you think beardies dream? Its a silly question but I've always woundered if other animals dream. If they do then King Tut must have been having a great dream!! Hes just now showing interest in his ladies so i woulder what was on his mind????? Hope you like the pic, sorry its kinda crappy though. I took it through the glass and holding the spot light through it so I could get the pic and not wake him up.

I used to work with an amozon that used to mumble in his sleep. I think my cats dream too and my girlfriends dog sometimes runns in its sleep. Im pretty sure beardies dream too. Who knows? but it sure would be neat to know what they are dreaming about.

Bearded Dreams:
"MMMMM....... as many crickets as I can catch"
"Ahhhhh..... a nice warm rock to sun on"
"I am the king, ..king, king, king, I am in charge"

I remember reading that dreaming is something that highly intelligent animals do to keep their brain active while they sleep. Like dogs, cats, monkeys, humans, dolphins... I doubt a bearded dragon has much to dream about! Hell they dont have much to think about even when they are awake. These are just about the only thoughts that ever cross their minds:

- Yummy Crickets
- Delicious greens
- Sexy female
- My territory!
- Danger!
- Nice warm basking spot
- Nice cool side of cage
- Nice spot to sleep on
