I just picked up two more babies. They are two females from Bob Hansen.
This first one is Ripley. At first, I though she might be a White Leonis, but she shed today and in the sunlight she is a really light yellow. She is still a very pretty snake, and I really like her. Her mother was a White Leonis, so it should be interesting what kind of babies she produces when I pair her up with Korben in a few years.

This girl, Vixey, is a neat looking Green Leonis. She has some fun aberrancies in her first few saddles. It looks like she may turn out to be have a very textured base color as an adult. Should be fun to watch it develop.

Vixey was quite the feisty one coming out of her cup when she arrived. She flailed around and bit me on the finger, then did not want to let go! I carefully got her to release, then she flailed some more with her mouth wide open. She ended up biting herself, and that didn't seem like it was fun for her so she let go. It was too funny! I'm so used to Thayeri being relatively chill snakes. I've seen them be wiggly... but not so feisty!! Too cute.
She since has not tried to bite at all.

You'll get your own White Leonis soon... perhaps next summer?
