my eggs are kept 85-88 degrees and humidity is constant. they should be close to hatching i don't have my calendar so i don't know what day they are on. anyway about a week ago one ofthem started getting soft and baggy as opposed to the firm and smooth ones . progressivly more have started doing this. they arn't going bad i know what that looks like. are they getting ready to hatch? it has been awhile since i had any beardie eggs

It is normal for the eggs to collapse a few days before hatching. Thus, keep incubating and check the incubator once a day and you should see pipping soon.

i know that it is me just being a nervous and anxious mommy but sometimes having someone else tell you makes it okay. i check on them in the morning and before bed. while i have the lid off checking on them the indentations in the eggs fill back up slowly and they become smooth and firm again.

That's wierd I've never noticed or heard of that before. I'm a little worried that your temps are on the high side. I never let mine get above 86. But, I use Hovabators and there is some fluctuation. Temps. above 88 can cause birth defects and death so they say. But it runs against some other studies on TDSD.
