As per Adchams descriptions, this is fine.
Chamaeleo (Trioceros) jacksonii xantholophus
-----
WILL HAYWARD,
CANADIAN CHAMELEONS
This should be easily survivable. As for how "comfortable" the animal is, who knows? I know I could sleep outside in 40 degree weather and be just fine, but I sure don't want to...burrrrr The argument that the animal experiences X in nature therefore X is fine is a poor argument. Droughts, fires, cyclones, and all other kinds of badness happen in nature too, and the animals survive them...usually.
