Absolutely Beautiful!!!

I have a question. In your pics it LOOKS like yours has red pupils. Do all the WS, or WS axanthics have this trait, or is it just from the camera flash?

Yes you are correct his pupils are red... very strange contrast being that his iris is a solid black.

I'm unsure about the regular White-sided and the hypo WS but the Axanthic WS' definitely have red pupils.

Thanks for the reply, does anyone with a "normal" or hypo WS know if they have red pupils too, or is this a trait in just the axanthic WS's?

i saw the red pupils in a white side and axanthic whiteside i used to own, but in the two ws hypos I hatched out in 2006 I do not remember seeing the red pupil.

....Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a red pupil supposed to be associated with a lack of melanin production in T albinos?

Sorry, the positive sign doesn't seem to come up for me? Anyway it should say, in T positive albinos.

I believe that it is, but just the pupil being red is not an indication of any single recssive trait. It may be a condition that occurs with the ws trait as well...
more breeding, more copious notes of breeding results, more posts detailing the results of breeding here on the forum, more discussion of the results, more breeding, more copious notes...

Thanks again Dave. I couldn't agree more. SEEMS there's more going on with these than just having white sides.
