a few cham questions

jovbunny Aug 21, 2003 03:08 PM

Ok I've decided to stop using a dripper in my chameleons cages. I've been trying a few different misters, I've tried one you hook up to a garden hose, but that has a heavy spray and you cant use ro/di water.
I've tried the habba mister, and that only runs for a minute at a time, which I am not happy with.
are there any other types of misters that would work better?
Also I've tried feeding my veileds and panthers some veggies including romain, and brocoli.
my male veiled eats the broccoli but is that a good veggie for them?
how do i get the others to eat greens?
and what other veggies would be recommended?

I use a rainmaker jr. misting system.
Has different size misting heads.. (I use the super-fine misting head RED)
5 Gallon bucket reservoir.
Expandable to cover 30 cages.
Comes with a timer.
Really easy to get setup.

hope to see it tuesday! I took cham_para's suggestions and purchased it from http://www.saurian.net/htm/accessories_nozzles.htm - He was a really good guy to work with.

Was it easy to set up? Do you have a screen cage? is it on the outside of the cage - or inside?

Im still going to use a dripper though. Very slow drip mind you, but Ill still have it going.

Was it easy to set up?
Took about 20 minutes. Cut hoses to size. fasten nozzles. Tighten clamps.

Do you have a screen cage?
Yep, screen cages.

is it on the outside of the cage - or inside?
Inside cages.

Misunderstood the last one.
The nozzles are on the ouside of the cages.
