Hey man, have you tried google? How do you decide on buying a sav, without knowing the first thing about them?
i do know ALOT about sav. monitors, but i just wanted to know of any personal tips on better ways of taking care of them.
One thing that will help you most is to do a search of the forum using the words "savannah monitor" or "savannah" or some variation. Sometimes using the "plus sign" in front of one or the other will give you more/better results. (The plus sign won't show in a post because it's interpreted as code, thus the reason I didn't use the sign itself instead of the words.)
I'm not trying to put you off by sending you on a search instead of trying to give you the input you're seeking, it's just that you'll get more opinions and probably better answers from the search than what you'd get from this one lone post.
Do a search and read several past discussions on it and then let us know if you've still got any unanswered Qs. You see, that's a very general question that gets asked a heap of times. That info can be obtained by reading care sheets, that's what they're for. Once you encounter the need for a specific answer to a specific problem, then you ask Qs.
Please, don't misunderstand me, I'm not trying to be hasty or anything like that, I'm just trying to let you know how it generally works.
Keep in mind that care sheets are good, if you get a good one, that is, but they should only be used as a starting point. You'll have to make adjustments here & there as each cage, monitor, etc..., is different.
I do hope this helps and that you won't be hesitant to come back if you have any specific Qs.
Have a good one!
