this is the same dragon, same day.........they really can change drastically, he was out in the sun and so he really darkened up.. bring him back in.....and voilla.....from brown and black to orange and blue......

his normal everyday color is orange, but when stressed or really trying to grab some natural sun, he darkens considerably and dont mind the harness, used to throw on one him when he was younger as he wwas pretty fast back then and we had a lot of wildlife, roadrunners and such that would have snapped him up quick.

Maybe that is what he is doing, I will just have to wait, he is eating like mad and is very freindly . Thanks.
just give him some time to settle in, he has the potential just give him time to let it come out, check your temps, make sure your enclosure is nice and bright and feed and hydrate him well and im sure he will improve, husbandry can make ALL the difference.
