striped belly knoblochi

ncstateherps Sep 16, 2007 10:01 AM

So I picked up a 2006 male knoblochi from my friend who originally purchased it from Paul Weaver. When I picked him up I noticed he has a very light red pigment, almost more of a red-orange.

Well as I am looking him over, I realize this awesome belly pattern that runs from head to tail....(bad photo, but it was the best I could get today)

Definitely interesting! Besides Troy Whitacre's striped knoblochi, anyone ever see something like this?

I have seen plenty of orange phase knoblochi, they are common, and I have seen one with a full white belly. I have never seen one with a striped belly. I would breed it and see what you get, could be interesting.

I had an aberrant knoblochi that had a white striped ventral too, my friend in NY has it now, and got babys from it X a normal female this year. That one came from Larry Keller. Cool looking knob though,
