Market for pythons

I am thinking about trying my hand at breeding either an IJCP or a jungle carpet, but am not sure if I will be able to sell the hatchlings. Is the market for carpets okay, or will I be stuck with keeping the hatchlings? Is there another type of python in under about $300 that has a higher demand?
