And besides, with Bob's freudian slips, along with group discussions about rodent romance, perfect grammar is the last thing we worry about.

Thanks for the pics YOUVAL. I haven't seen a lot of
GRB pics, so feel free to post as many as you want.

>>super long thread on rodent romance and rodent b@lls lol

Absolutely nothing! I'm just upset I missed out on it, along with a few of the other weekend discussions. (I was in West Virginia on my first whitewater rafting trip.) Heck, I've got a big, old male pet rat, maybe I can stud him out.
Actually, I need to find him a home so I can get my snakes and keep peace in the household. Anyone interested? You have to promise not to use him as a feeder, though!

Thanks,
Ed

Only if you send me one of your babies to keep
my Indigo from getting lonely. :P

I need to find Mickey the rat a Minnie rat so
he can enjoy his old age. Seriously, they are
great pets. Mickey's like a little puppy, he'll just
sit there indefinitely with a look of contentment on his
face when you scratch his head. Yeah, yeah, I know, he's
just snake food...

Congratulations on the new litter, btw!

Thanks,
Ed

Ed, I mean why you gonna do me like that but it's alright cuz I like you and not like that When is that new snake coming (indigos or womas I can't remember right)?
Bob

natsamjosh Sep 17, 2007 04:38 PM

Sorry Bob, I couldn't resist. I fell off my chair laughing when
you mis-typed "getting out" as "getting ---" in that Foreigner thread. I'm surprised that didn't trigger a flurry of wise-guy comments from the group.

Scheduled ship date for my male Indigo is a Monday, a week from today. AP couldn't build my cage yet due to a defective shipment they got, so it's going to be tight as far as having my enclosure before the snake. Might have to set up some temporary digs for him.

Sorry again. You can take a dig at me whenever, since I guess you owe me one now.

Thanks,
Ed

Railrider1920 Sep 17, 2007 09:30 PM

What is it like for you over there? I am talking about our hobby of keeping snakes. Are there pet shops that you can go to to get supplies? Mice or rats for feeding? Are there breeders that breed and sell snakes? Or do you mainly have to order things from online?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Can we see a few more pictures??

hey rob!
the snake hobby in here is lame .. the pet shop have no idea about snakes.perhaps a corn snake ones & then.

there are some breeders of snakes in here ,but again, the list of spiciesmorph is way to short.
i myself breed corn,cali' kings , bci's and last year also a GRB's.

there are alot of snakes that the authority are not approve.
just an example- BRB's prodosed only a couple of time in here.
ball python are import here frequency {ones in 4-6 month} and again-only one breeder of them in here.

i hope that in a few years there will be diffrent here {ill try my best}.
in the last years you can see diffrent here, but still -nothing comers to what going in the state.

for feeding- there is a large lab that supply ... and most breeders{and me} have a big freezer.

about supplies.. again,no pet shops.. only online or a friend that fly to the US.

the only rainbow boas that i have are the GRB . ill take picturs for you soon.
in the meantime i share with you some pic of other snakes that i have{i hope its o.k} -

holy melanistic thayeri-

L.mexicana.mexicana-

"dream" thayeri-

L.mexicana "greeri" -

"mega banded" {mexicana ssp}-

waspinator421 Sep 18, 2007 12:53 PM

Whoa, Nice Thayeri!! That is my other favorite species.

Railrider1920 Sep 17, 2007 11:10 PM

What a great collection you have there Youval. I don't like the thayeri very much, but some of yours are really nice. Especially the melanistic thayeri. Very cool looking. I guess I have a thing for black snakes. I have a black pine snake. I almost got a melanistic garter snake a year or so back.

Most times there isn't a problem posting OT (Off Topic) pictures. Many of the people here on this forum (Rainbow Boas) don't mind. Some of the other forums here on kingsnakes.com, sometimes the Off Topic pictures are not wanted. Just put a "O/T" or "OT" in the subject line so people know that it's not on topic.

Thanks for the information on how things work for you in Israel. Maybe you can get some laws changed.
Best luck to you,
Rob

Here is my black pine:
