what a 3 foot female Ig should weigh?

I think the egg laying season greatly affects that. If youre talking about Beanie, do you have a record of her weights before and after surgery? that would be very useful to show how shes doing weight wise, and im sure you could even use a microsoft graph thing to plug in her weights and see inclines and declines easier. If there is no weight chart, did the vet at least weigh her before surgery? Every vet ive been to has weighed the animal at the start of the office meeting, just to record it down. You could call and ask for Beanies records and they could tell it to you over the phone or ask for it mailed, etc..
if you havnt already, a 10 cent notebook and pen and scale would help keep a good idea of her weights
Sarah
Her weight when I adopted her last September was 1.1 lbs
Just before her hysterectomy she was 2.8 After her surgery
she is 2.4 lbs. She is still 2.4 lbs. It seems all of the
Igs I have seen are much heavier and I just wondered what a
normal Ig weighs at 3'. It has been 12 weeks now and she still
is not eating on her own.
my Ig is about 3' 10" and weighed 8# when I got her about a month ago. Vet said at that time it was a good healthy weight. She most likely has gained more since then tho.
Hope this maybe gives you a little bit of a guide.
good luck!
Renee
me an idea of what my Ig should weigh and I think she is no
where near where she should be. She is 3' and weighs
only 2.4 lbs

Linda, Why dont you chop her greens very very finely and mix in a litte of the liquid you are force feeding her? If she isnt losing any weight she should be ok for a little bit until she is ready to eat. She should smell the greens when shes hungry enough and chow down when shes ready.

Heather, Vern, Andy, Router, April And OODLES of fish
of her normal food including collards, mustard, turnip greens
green beans or peas and everything else she eats into a blender
and making it puree. I also leave a fresh plate every day
in case she decides to eat. I also put small pieces of greens
into her mouth by gently pulling down on her dewlap. She
then eats them. I am getting this down to a fine science
