Big Apple Herpetological (now Big Apple Pet Supply) sells something called RepTiles. These are light-weight, red casts of rock flakes and look great in an desert-like cage. They come in various sizes. They are light enough where the snake can't get trapped when burrowing under them. I have a bunch that I used when raising baby Children's pythons. The babies would hide amongst the tiles.

I've seen some great fake succulents sold in most pet stores. I think the brand is Zilla.
