This season's hopeful SUNGLOW makers

voodoomagik Sep 17, 2007 04:35 PM

Hi, everybody!
This is Strawberry and Casper. Casper's a male albino that I got from Mark at Boamaster. It's always so hard to catch his color with getting some sort of glare-especially outside.
Strawberry's a DH Sunglow from Ben Cole. She has a really sweet personality and I like her red coloration. I finally realized how much of a difference natural lighting makes. The ones of Strawberry were in the back yard on an overcast day and she was still showing colors I had forgotten she had!
I'm hoping to put them together in a few weeks or so for babies this spring.
Wish me luck!
Aaron

Here's an outside one of Casper. See what I mean about the glare?
The lighting's not so great on Strawberry under the rocking chair, but it makes for good size reference.

Very nice Aaron, and best of luck to you this season! I agree, it's very tough to capture the "true" colors of an albino - usually indirect sunlight works the best for me.

Thank you, Kevin!
I'm really not the greatest with the camera yet. I think it might also be the fact that I can't control the flash!
This is one of 5 projects I'm hoping for in the 07/08 season.
I'm sure you have some REALLY great stuff you're getting ready to breed as well.
Good luck to you, too!
I'll be watching for you!
Aaron
