Ended up picking up a juvie male Black Milk, still waiting on the female (her breeder failed to show).

Here's Kai, modelled by my good friend.

I also missed out (by a few minutes!) on a really nice male yearling BRB, a very pretty orange guy with those "cheeto" lips that the Peruvians I've seen have. Perhaps an intergrade?
I was VERY dissapointed when I came back to the table and he was sold. I suppose I should brush up on my lighting swift expo-purchasing reflexes.
There was one outstanding hatchling female there as well. Very light and creamy in hue (reminded me of a peach!), she definitely stood out from her litter-mates. I was sorely tempted to pick her up, but I couldn't justify adding more babies to the collection just yet.

Got in touch with a lead on a couple of other snakes I'm looking for, though. I was very impressed. Not to mention, I should have another acquisition by the end of the week.

All in all, it was a good day.

Pics pics pics....

Could be as easy as using blunt hemostats to "pop" loose the lower jaw, could be as serious as needing surgery to correct. I remeber seing pics on a boa on the boa forum like that but as I remember it was about half it's jaw folded over/swallowed.

Very nice little Milksnake. I've always thought it was neat how that species changes colors.

On the flipside of my BRB tastes, I'm rather partial to big black snakes. Gaigeae turn into big black snakes iridescence.

How can you go wrong?

That was supposed to say

"big black snakes PLUS iridescence."

Congrats on the male, he's a good looking snake. I hope you get the female soon, waiting for new snakes is such a pain. Too bad about missing the BRB I hate it when I just miss out on deals.

I hope I get her soon too... it's been a bit of an ordeal.

Missing out on deals is such a blow! I missed out on no less than three this week alone, including a GREAT deal on two plastic enclosures that I really could have used.
