Tinas trip to vet

norristhenut Sep 17, 2007 07:59 PM

Was able to get Tina and his swollen eyes to vet this moring at 9:30 after exam Tinas diagnosis was open-infection vs. pesticide toxicity. We had are yard treated for grubs and some of pesticide may have gotten into garden. The vet found him very lethargic, eyes swollen and barely open however he still has good muscle mass. He's being treated with anti biotics every other day for ten days. His home care requirments are to keep him isolated in a small aquarium where we can keep the tempature elevated (mid 80's) and a daily bathes. I have to report back to vet in ten days. Right now he just lays there. We are optomtsic though as he and his roomate have come back from other injuries.
I'm including a week before photo and a current one, today. thanks for the responses.
