Aaron,

Those are some very nice Mex-Mex...whose stock produced them?

I'll post some photos once all of the newbies arrive for this years acquisitions...my ramsayi arrive tomorrow...I know they're not Mexicana's but, I've always wanted a large bodied animal that was different from a Boa or a Ball...

Hey, did you ever contact Ric Blair regarding alterna's? Just wondering...

Later,
Jim.

Thanks. The mex mex stock was a female I got from an unknown vendor at the San Diego Reptile Show in 1996(said to be Applegate/Ruiz stock) bred to a male I got from the ks.com classifieds a few years ago. There is no verifiable lineage on him but he's supposed to be from San Antonio Zoo stock. Both adults look like pure mex mex to me and I just consider them generic mex mex.
Congrats on the womas, they are awesome snakes. My friend has some and I got to hold them. I would love to have some but for now I have to stick with smaller colubrids.

Aaron,

Thanks man...sincerely appreciated. I plan on working with Mex-Mex eventually and your broad-saddle splits are very nice...

Check your email...I'm sending you something that you might be interested in...

Later,
Jim.

I just got your email and sent you a reply just before finding your post here. That's some neat information and I thank you for sharing it. I have met and talked to Terry Lilley on a few occasions. He is an intersting guy and certainly has alot of experiences to share that go back a long way in the history of the herp keeping hobby.
