Clown Hatchling

jkobylka Sep 18, 2007 12:39 PM

This pic really caught my eye. No-one can truly appreciate a clown until they have one in hand. They are a phenomenal morph. So far I've hatched 3.1 this year.

Justin, They will breed next year, but are doing good. My reduced patterned male Clown will breed this year so he'll have to settle for normal and Pastel females. Thanks, Skip

Clowns are one of my favs but if you were to ask a casual herper they typically don't see a whole lot of difference between those and normals to be honest.

I worked my first reptile show in a couple years and we had a couple clowns at our table and the only people that really even gave them a second look were people with experience in the hobby. The ooohhhs and aawwwwsss with also go to the pieds, which happend at our table and you can get them for half the price as a clown.

Anyway, I don't know where that really was going....just an observation that I thought I would share.

I love your clowns!!!! Very cool!

Jason

Ugh, sorry about all the typos in that post. Thats what I get for trying to type fast here at work!

I've found that to be partially true as well. but to someone who is a bp enthusiast, they are easy to get excited about. Plus, the pastel and super pastel clowns really do slap you in face. (in a good way lol)

The male het I bought from you is doing great!
Hope I can afford a female this season! I agree that the clown combos are going to rock. Cant wait to see a lavender clown!!
Hows those lavs doing for you? I have a clutch of possible hets in the incubator due any day. 4 clowns this season has to be awsome!!!
