i got my python out today and let him soak for about 15 minutes...early into the soak a heard him make a few popping noises...they stopped and ive never heard him do this before...i have read that popping sounds could be related to a resp infection...considering i only heard maybe 3 pops and they stopped...should i be really worried? or only start worrying if it happens more frequently

As long as you do not hear it anymore I would not worry about it. When you hold it if you hear wheezing then you may have a problem other than that it may have gotten a little water in his nose.
