Was just wondering what you guys with experience think about this subject:
I know males often refuse food during breeding season but I was wondering if when males are still feeding females sometimes refuse food due to readiness to breed? I have had an 2003 albino female refuse food for 2 weeks and a 2002 proven pastel for a month now. Nothing has changed except for these two refusing food when neither has EVER refused food before. I was not planning on introducing males until mid October but I am thinking I might try introducing them and see what happens. The only problem is one of their mates is in the blue and I don't start adjusting temps until late October and don't know if that might mess them up if they are already at it. Any input appreciated.
