Is it ok to feed long tailed salamanders (Eurycea longicauda longicauda) to snakes? I haven't been able to find anything about them producing a slime or being poisonous. I would prefer to use red backs, but it's pretty tough finding them right now, and long tails are EXTREMELY abundant near my house. I know this isn't really a venomous type question, but it's for feeding some vens and the folks on this forum generally know more about feeding salamanders and such. I can't wait to have a year when all of my neos just take pinks!!... haha...
