herpstat fuse?

wh00h0069 Sep 19, 2007 03:46 PM

I accidentally hooked up too much wattage to my herpstat 1, and blew the fuse (inside the herpstat.) Has anyone changed the fuse in one of these? I know the other herpstats have resetable fuses, but I don't think that the herpstat 1 does. Thanks.

The re-settable fuses work by unplugging it for 5 minutes then plugging it back in. If this does not work, you'll have to contact Spyder Robotics. There is a glass fuse inside the basic thermostat and (unless this has changed) it is soldered in place.

Thanks, I opened it up and it is a glass fuse. I didn't try to take it out, because I didn't want to damage it. I will get a hold of spyder robitics. Thanks.
