Egg Laying

Longhorn627 Sep 19, 2007 04:13 PM

I have a one year old Veiled chameleon who I am pretty sure has developed eggs but I can not get her to lay them in the moist sand bucket I have enclosed in her cage. Do yall recommend a seperate enclosure for egg laying? Any tips are appreciated as I do not want her to become egg bound. Thanks

You said..."I can not get her to lay them in the moist sand bucket"...has she been digging in it at all?

You said..."Do yall recommend a seperate enclosure for egg laying?"...I don't move mine to a separate container until they have been digging in the one in the cage. It doesn't mean that you couldn't though.
