I bought these two milks at MARS this weekend. I don't think they are what the vendor said they are. out of courtesy I am not going to name them here. I don't think it was intentional, just a mistake. I have an idea what they are, just wanted some other opinions.
Milk#1

Milk #2

If they are what I think they are then I'll be even more happy, got a great deal.

look like crosses to me. I would say the first one is a arcifera x campbelli but the secon one could be just campbelli. Are the siblings?

Yes, they are siblings. Are you sure campbelli? The yellow bands seem way too small, look nothing like my other campbelli. Could be a possibility though.

I would have to say they look like Pueblands as well.

I would have to say Pueblans (campbelli) all the way. I can see what Shannon is saying about milk #1, particularly since the prefrontal scales are absent of the typical campbelli marking. But after many years of breeding Pueblans, I have experienced a few individuals having little to no prefrontal markings from time to time.

Aside from the first couple pics that Shannon was referring to in regards to the encroaching(arching) black bands, and the absence of the prefrontal band(which is not too uncommon) you have "textbook" Pueblans(campbelli), especially the last sibling,....that's a perfect example of "campbelli".

What were they sold to you as?

thanks everyone. thats what I thought. I was pretty sure about the second one, it was the first that had me. So a cross? By the way, they were sold as mexican milks. I knew better, but couldn't pass up the deal.

They really ARE Mexican Milks(not annulata though) in the fact they are from the state, and surrounding area of Puebla, Mexico!LOL.......maybe the seller got confused!
