Got any halloween hondo pics?

caz223 Sep 20, 2007 08:39 AM

I was at a show 2 months ago and spied a weird looking snake, never seen one like that before. It looked like a peublan x hondo cross, but I was assured it was a new morph, a haloween hondo, it had really thick black and orange bands, and the typical 'sockhead' look of a pueblan, but it was slightly abbherant, leading me to pelieve that it was a cross.
Please correct me, and the best way I know would be to post pics of a halloween hondo. They certainly do have a look that's all their own, if it was genuine.

I guess my real question was, are halloween hondos a cross or a morph?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Tangerine Hondurans are already Halloween colors - they're nothing new.

It looked a lot like that, except the double band was near the vent, maybe 2/3 the way back, kind of like an imperial gone bad.
I was LOOKING for excellent examples of pueblans to try for tang/apricot and all they had were skinny pale yellow and black broken pattern sickly looking snakes. The guy showed me that for $160 and I said thanks but no thanks. What do I breed that mutant to?
I still think it was a cross, maybe that explains how the halloween can't readily be chased down.
