Tri Hognose Probe depths

Hey
Iv recently probed my Hog Tri`s... I got 8-9 scales for the male and 4-5 for the other.... Im sincerely hoping that this is a normal depth for a female Tri Hog......
Can anyone enlighten me))

I've never probed my tris. The difference between tail length/thickness from male to female is so pronounced that it would be hard to miss! Probing really is not necessary.
