Albino Arabesque Motley??

whitneywee Sep 20, 2007 06:54 PM

My litter of Motley het albino female X albino Arabesque male had 9 albino motleys. A couple look like they could be arabesque motleys like this male

Or maybe this colorful stripy female

They are definitely different than these classic boys from the same litter

What does everyone think? Mark

Very nice, I think you hit it!

Talk to Jeremy, he had some stillborn Motley Arabesques and Hypo Motley Arabesques. You could look at the pics if he has some to share. That was in '06, so there may be others now.

Tough to tell with Albino morphs, but I def. think the first one is one, and the second is 95% likely to be one! (IMO, lol)

Mark, would you mind if I used those pics on my site for the morph catalog. Any name ideas or just Albino Motley Arabesque (mouthful of a morph).

You are welcome to use any pictures. I don't think they need a different name, and I'm sure these aren't the first. Looking at the babies I think are arabesque motleys, they seem to have a lot of saddles that have this shape, fenestrated like a double door

Cool picture, odd for sure. I think you can pick out the Arabs based on a few things, but I wonder if the differences will remain as they age. I know a lot of older Albino Arabs are tough to see the pattern on.

motley and arab are two genes that make any albino 10000 times better they seem to glow when added to albino very nice snakes you got there double whammy at that

Interestingly, there were no normal motleys, but 9 albino motleys. There were 5 normal arabesques, no albino arabesques. Then 2 normal babies and 2 albino babies. Didn't exactly follow the expected odds. Mark

animals! I LOVE the way the one in the second photo looks. The way their pattern and coloration is, they actually remind me a lot of Albino Burmese Pythons!

Thanks for sharing those photos!
