I've used the paper towel method before, but was worried this time the shed problem was too much for even that method. So I had hoped for some sort of solvent that would work and not hurt the animal (baby oil or something like that, someone mentioned olive oil). So I used the paper towel method over night and it worked very well. The little guy had his head and a little down his body done when I checked on him in the morning. I helped him finish it up and all is good.
