Bad pic and a couple questions

brianray Sep 21, 2007 01:16 AM

For the first time this season I put my male(800grams) into my female's(1700grams) cage and found them locked up this morning. They stayed that way for at least 10 hours.

After they separated, I put the male back in his cage and gave each snake 3 rat fuzzies weighing about 15 grams a piece.

Should I offer food after EVERY lock?
Should I give them a few days rest after EVERY lock?
If I feed them, should I offer more or less food?

Thanks in advance!

I normally give males the weekends off. I continue to offer feed on a weekly basis, males will normally go off feed during breeding season. I offer food regardless and stop feeding females after the prelay shed.Good luck to you!
