these are actually a pretty good idea.
i get AT least 4 for your boxie. the bigger the better.
are they moisture resistant?
with the wire on top it might be alittle hard to keep the moist
but you can supplement by using a good mossy soil and spraying frequently.
(i'd spray more on one side to keep a humidity gradient.)
i keep many species indoor despite the common opion that they do better outdoors.
it can be done
but my indoor enclosures are large.
this cavy thing isn't bad.
how deep are they?
you will want like 6 inches of substrate.
if you do it
tell us how it goes.

yep my idea!!! i dont think i will do it though because some people say that the humidity doesnt stay...sooo

yeah i know it was your idea (see posts way below)
but i though i should bring it up as the threead was getting long and i didn't want it to get lost.
yes humidity is a concern but

(1) where do you live

(2) you could line some or all of the sides with plastic sheeting and still retain lots of mositure. this way you could use the same design.

hmmm i live in illinois its really humid in my room!! well i would use it but...wat if it doesnt work ya know??
