Feeding Question

tim21087 Sep 21, 2007 05:03 PM

So my CRB took a small rat last Thursday. This was her first small rat. My question for you is when should I next feed her? Should I wait for the first rat to pass or is there a number of days I should wait before I feed her again?

Depends, was the small rat a large meal for her? If so I'd wait a bit longer. Skipping a weekly feeding is just fine for them.

If it was a "normal-ish" meal, just rats now, then stick with regular feeding schedule!

It was a large meal for her. It left quite a lump in her

I've been feeding her on a weekly schedule. Should I just skip this week altogether or should I feed her a couple of days late?

IMO, for me, if it was that noticable, I'd just skip a week, then she'll be hungry again when feeding day comes around again. Part of it for me is I have so many and I need to keep feeding on a schedule so Monday/Tuesday is feeding day, fed/eat then or wait for next week.
