well i have worked things out and i'm gonna be getting my "new colors" soon. i'm ecstatic!! i'm gonna get one of those craig mcsherry peruvians and a yearling female nat zoo line. they may not be the "fanciest" rainbows, but i'm just so excited. rainbow boas in general have been my favorite snakes since i was about 7. actually come to think of it one of the national zoo specimens was what really set in my love for the species. that was actually one of the most memorable days in my childhood. you see my grandfather has been on the board of directors for FONZ (friends of the national zoo) for like 25 years. he got me in for a "behind the scenes tour" of the herpetological exhibits for my 8th birthday. i even got to meet trooper walsh that day (he took me and my dad into the komodo dragon enclosures with him.) i think one of the absolute coolest things that day, and for that matter EVER, was getting to hold a baby komodo. all in all i think it was a formative experience in my love for herps. ah well, enough with my life story i guess. just don't have anyone else who would really appreciate the significance of such things, places, and people!
