Nicaraguans to breed next month

voodoomagik Sep 23, 2007 09:58 AM

Hi, guys!
Here are a couple of pure nics I'm going to put together in a few weeks.
The interesting thing I've found about nics is that the males are nicer and eat more regularly. Usually it's the opposite.
Hmmmm...
Anyone else have a similar experience with nicaraguans?
Lemonade is the lighter snake in the top two pics and is the female. Shasta is the male's name.
NOT ready for another work week tomorrow...
Have a great one!
Aaron

She's a good looking girl! I like the contrast of the dark pattern with the white spots... I have a 2' male that is tame and eats anything, anytime...just gotta find him a girlfriend...

Looking good Aaron...I've had attitude problems with both males and females but all in all most of mine are pretty docile. Two males in particular were the spawn of satan, but I sold them

Yeah, my males-anytime any where, like you said Heather, but the females are pickier by far.
Also, the males I can reach in and pick them up, but the females I will often have to use the hook even after they're out!
Heather-congrats again on those suri crosses. AMAZING! I can’t wait to see what you breed it with. I thought it looked female from the quick and dramatic tapering of the tail in the shot that you posted.
Amie-We're about due for a dwarf boa EXPLOSION from you, aren't we?
I know you're got a BUNCH of stuff that I imagine is close to breeding-maybe this year?
Thanks again for the comments both of you!
Aaron

I'm working on it. LOL

So far it looks like my hypo nic female and my male Het T nic are the only ones old enough to try this year.

But next year...look out!! LMAO!!!
