I used to buy aspen and it was $8 for a bag, and it cost around $30 total, so I was paying around $22 to ship.

My bad lol
Could have been a little nicer... Mabey you could have said like "Oh hey, I would go to this web site to tell shipping, Im a nice person! Good luck" Not "Lazy man, do it yourself..."

Not everything is sugar-coated in life, kid. Seriously, the cost of shipping differs greatly based on what company you ship with and what transit time you pick. Go to those websites and do some research.

Still is not right. This is a small hobby and this forum is here to help each other. Amazing that you handle this more maturly then some adults.

Josh,

Pay no attention to the clique and they will go away.

I wouldnt pay 3x's the cost of something to ship it...think about it. The smaller the box and less it weighs the cheaper it is to send, but if you are buying..whos to say what the seller is gonna do?

Its like those commercials where they sell the learning CD for only 5 bucks, then it costs like $11 to ship one CD to you...

What state are you in? Like the other person said, look for a farm or garden supply store. Agway is by me, but I am not sure if they are national? Look in the Yellow Pages under "farm supplies" or "garden supplies".

Good luck.

~Alan

p.s. Make sure you buy untreated whatever you do. Have you thought of using cypress? I use it and it works great. It is only about $4 for a 40lb bag and it looks awesome and holds the humidity like a champ. Just a tought.

Josh I would try to check some local feed stores, Sometimes they can order it and save you a bundle on shipping. Good luck!

Perfect way to say it. LOL I may have to steal that line in the future.
