Here is a picture of that boa taken by Jeremy Stone when he owned it. Such a genetic loss.
Jeremy, I hope you don't mind me posting this.

I didn't think Jeremy "owned" it, I thought they went into a "partnership" with the animal???

There was info on his old site, and to be honest I don't remember the details if they were even listed.

Yeah, I don't know Chris. There are a lot of stories behind that animal from back in the day that really aren't worth getting into. I just posted the pic because it's a neat animal, and that mullet was too hard to pass up, LOL! It is far from the first unique animal to pass away before being reproduced. But, I'm sure the loss was harder on whoever had a vested interest in the animal than it is on any one else.

Seems we were posting at the same time. Sounds the same.

Yeah that boa was way before I got into Boas myself. Had the pic saved on my computer because I always thought it looked cool, and figured I'd post it with yours.

Is that the same boa with the tainted history?

TnK Sep 24, 2007 05:36 PM

Virtually every boa in culture has a "tainted" ancestral history,as well as a large majority of the legal:cough: animals being questionable at best.
