Good ol jonny law forces me to sell 95% of my entire collection. Because the laws are differnt at the town I am moving too... so now all my Thayeri, and kings most go so I guess I'll just be working with geckos and hognose now

NO constictors and no vemous.

I'd check that out word for word.
Most "no constrictors" laws I've read single out the large boids and pythons and do not include the colubrids like corns and kings.
Can you get a copy of the statute?
What state? County? City? etc.

Usually they mean(like Mark stated)Boas, and Pythons, although who knows how this idiotic law could be perceived by some morons in the "higher" offices!

I think some of these officials(along with some others) should be slapped right upside their heads.

All it takes are some irresponsible snake owners, and some "opheophobes" then, you have BIG PROBLEMS!!

I've never heard of anyone being killed, or dogs and cats being swollowed by a "thayeri"!!LOL

What's really insane is the law is "supposed" to protect people and their pets from being harmed by large constrictors,...

But it wouldn't be surprising to me to see this thing eventually affect animals like the EXTREMELY DANGEROUS constrictors known as the Scarlet Kingsnake!!, thayeri!!, cornsnakes!!,etc....LOL

Anyway, This sort of idiotic stuff really burns me up !!

I would DEFINITELY research more of this in detail, as it would kill me to have to give up my animals for the sake of some PURE NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!!
