Hello-
Been gone for a while.
Had a really bad transaction experience with an individual from this forum, and was really thinking of not returning, but figured that he is an isolated case.
Just wanted to update the forum on Grover who seems to be recovering from his skin ailment, although he looks like hell.
And also to announce the hatching of fifteen of the 17 eggs that were incubating.
All hatchlings look very healthy, and have been separated into totes containing only 2-3 per tote.
There seems to be no evidence of sibling aggression as of yet that was so evident in the last clutch.
An amendment to the post regarding aggression.
The only time I have seen aggression in Egyptians, was as young hatchlings. Although toward each other, they will defend their territory(caging) from potential rivals as adults/ juveniles.
That is why I recommend always keeping them one per cage.
Hope all is well.
E
