Extremely tempermental snake

Serpents_Touch Sep 24, 2007 07:30 AM

I have a Leucistic TR that is extremely tempermental. Unsure of exact age, but I acquired him in this year. I had to have a friend take care of him for a few months now. I hoping to bring him home very soon. In the time he's been there, he's become this way. I would love to get him back to the easily handled temper he had before. Is there anything I can do, other than regular handling, & feeding in a separate container?

The more you handle it more it should calm down. Babies usually start off pissy and I found that I let them bite me 40 or so times they get bored and stop. However, if you have an adult I would not recommend that method.

Also, feed the snake in a place other than were you house it. As I'm sure you know they are aggressive feeders so it may help to remove that reaction from their home.

Best of Luck
