who's the daddy?

reptilegirl15 May 22, 2003 09:52 AM

my female sunglow/amel cornsnake laid 27 eggs thursday may 15th.we arent sure who the "daddy" is yet. she was kept in with 2 males,(a hypo and a pink snow)due to a problem with our breeding rack.i saw matings between her and the hypo, but not sure that the snow didnt get in on the action.ill probably never know for sure, but for some reason it doent bother me much,im just too excited about the eggs that not much else matters

(the eggs that look "dented" have improved, they were a little dehydrated from being in the nest box with mom all day)

If you get amels, then it's probable that the snow was the father of those... unless your hypo male is het amel... No way to know for sure at this point in time. Congrats, though.
