it seems like my gecko hides too much during the night...but im not sure since ive never had one before..but i think he might come out a little more when i turn the lights out because i woke up one mourning a little earlier and he was out maybe its just cuss ihave the light on for awhile at night...plus hes 4 days old so far....in his knew home....about 4 mothes old when i got him......

Since you leave the light on he really has no way of knowing it is night and even if his biological clock tells him it is he sees the light as a sign that you are out and a threat to him. Since you have only had him four days he is still getting used to everything eventually he will probably start coming out more.
