What morphs are these little cuties

fishiefriend Sep 24, 2007 10:26 AM

I am brand new to the breeding world of leopard gecko breeding, but I've got 3 babies I'd like to know what morphs they are. And if you feel like giving me a few links on how to do the genetics based research I would appreciate that (I'm taking genetics for my degree now, and I love every minute of it).
Here's the babies, and I'll post another pic of the parents.

Normal? I thought the 2 older ones (the bottom 2) had some high yellow, since I think that is what the daddy is.

Well, I guess, but isn't high yellow kinda the norm these days

The most reliable way to tell if the offspring are high yellow is the absence of the dark streak on their femur.

The brighter one is a high yellow, and the darker of the two is a ghost. I know cuz I have the same types and mine were genetically proven. The babies look to be jungle high yellows. I've bred leos for the past 6 years and I never get tired og jungle babies.

It's hard to say by the photo. The parents look normal or wild caught phase. The lighter one could be high yellow or be the result of higher incubation temperatures.

I've got 5 total babies now, and they all have that same yellow body (between their down their back beginning and ending at the feet). They have different dark patches though.

They look like hypos to me. I cant think of any other morph they would be.
