I sold a blood to a person awhile ago who seemed very knowledgeable and excited to have it in his collection, but now I see that the snake is for sale, by the person..which is fine, but most of the information on the ad is false, and in the pic the snake is not looking as nice/healthy as I would like. Its too bad that sellers like that may make buyers wary of people like me, or some of you, that haven't sold enough snakes to have a good reputation, but are honest about what you sell and realistic about the prices you charge. It also makes me feel lucky that I've never found myself in this situation from the buyer's end.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Sold a guy some bloods and was completely honest about their origins, temperament, etc.

He turned around a year later and listed them as animals that he produced, were puppy dog tame, proven breeders. I ended up purchasing the animals back from him after jumping through some hoops. It was a nightmare and has given me a really bad taste towards selling.

There are many people who are just not ready for the commitment required. I observed this a lot when I chaired the adoptions program at the Chicago Herp Society.
