Z_G_Reptiles Sep 24, 2007 07:34 PM

I have a few questions concidering this is the first time i've bred boas, do they shed between the pos and birth? mine had an obvious ovulation and i've left the male in for a month after the shed.
she's also shed twice after the pos and only would accept feed about once every 3 weeks, so does anyone have any imput?
Thanks
Zack

Apparently some females will shed during gestation, and some do not at all (some don't even have a POS). Most typically do not shed after their POS until after they give birth, from everything I've heard. Some go off of feed completely, and some seem to have normal appetites - unfortunately they all seem to follow their own rules!
